The greens will be all the rage. Whether it be on your walls, on your furniture, or as plants, green will be very in. Pantone recently released their color of the year and, you guessed it, green. The name is Greenery, actually. Green symbolizes revival and renewal.

2. Terracotta

These warm hues will take the place of the cool tones that were so popular. Terracotta is usually seen in the kitchen, but try it in the living room for a warm Mediterranean vibe!

3. Cork

Yeah, I'm a little confused by this trend myself. But the popularity might have something to do with the fact that cork is sound absorbent, it's an eco-friendly material (very important now a days), its anti-microbial features combats mold, it eliminates dust, and absorbs toxins. Whoah. Well, win-win situation.

4. Wood Tiles

I wouldn't really consider this one a new trend, but the popularity sure is skyrocketing. Combining the durability of tile and the appearance of wood is a guaranteed way to keep this a trend for years to come.

5. Escapism

Little nooks and corners to escape from the real world and technology have become more and more popular. Comfy furniture with great natural lighting for reading or having a nice cup of coffee with no interruption. Doesn't that sound nice?
